It’s finally official. Pop star Rihanna is finally putting a title to Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp. “He’s my boyfriend. It’s new, and it’s fun. I just want to have fun, and that what it’s about,” the signer told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show (via In Touch Weekly).

In late February, Kemp threw a birthday party in Phoenix for pop star Rihanna. The party included sprinkles cupcakes, tiki torches in the pool and engraved bottles of Ace of Spades champagne and Johnny Walker Blue, as well as a Jamaican chef who whipped up lots of appetizers for the crowd. Kemp also gave her a diamond necklace.

The couple have been known to be dating since January. This is the first high-profile relationship for Rihanna since her split from ex Chris Brown, who was arrested for assaulting her in February 2009.
