According to MSNBC the Boston Red Sox have acquired outfielder Jonathan Van Every from the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named later.
Van Every played with the Red Sox in 2008 and 2009. He is a career .286/.355/.464 hitter in 18 career games with the Red Sox. You can see Van Every’s statistics here.
