PRO Rumors: Mike Leake, Aroldis Chapman, Buster Posey, Jim Edmonds, Jamey Wright

- The Reds’ Mike Leake will be the team’s fifth starter. Leake will be the first drafted pitcher to skip the Minor Leagues since Darren Dreifort of the Los Angeles Dodgers. (Mark Sheldon, MLB.com)
- The Reds’ also officially sent Cuban phenom Aroldis Chapman to the Minor Leagues. It was an expected move by the Reds, but the question on everybody’s mind is how long Chapman will be in the Minors. (John Fay, Cincinnati Enquirer)
- Daniel Brown of The Oakland Tribune says that the Giants have officially announced that catching prospect Buster Posey will be sent to Triple-A Fresno. Posey hit .321 with a home run and 9 RBIs in 53 Spring Training at-bats.
- With a poor Spring by outfielder Corey Hart of the Milwaukee Brewers, Jim Edmonds may be the team’s starting right fielder (Colin Fly, Associated Press).
- Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says the Indians have purchased the contract of pitcher Jamey Wright. Wright will make $900,000 this season.
