PRO Rumors: Reds Chapman, Leake and Nats Strasburg make their debut
ByHere are the outcomes for the some of the Reds highly touted rookies and the Nats #1 pick as they made their debuts today:
-Aroldis Chapman :4 2/3 innings, 9 strike outs, 85 pitches (55 strikes), 5 hits allowed (4 were infield hits)
-Mike Leake: 6 2/3 innings, 5 strike outs, 1 earned run, 106 pitches (7 walks), 4 hits and collected two hits himself. In doing so, he became the first Major League pitcher in his debut to collect two hits since Benny Frey did it on 9/18/29 vs Philadelphia.
-Stephan Strasburg: 5 innings, 8 strike outs, 4 runs (1 earned, 3 runs came as a result of 2 fielding errors), 82 pitches (2 walks) and collected an RBI double
