Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports says that the Yankees may be looking for additional outfield help since incumbent outfielders Randy Winn and Marcus Thames are performing poory this Spring. Winn, 35, had a batting/on-base/slugging line of .224/.255/.265. Thames, 33, was even worse, hitting .135/.182/.269.

The team currently has Brett Gardner in left, Curtis Granderson in center and Nick Swisher in right. Any injury or sudden slump could leave the team vulnerable.

Outfield options for the Yankees include the Giant’s Fred Lewis, Milwaukee’s Corey Hart, free agents Elijah Dukes and Jermaine Dye. All are experienced outfielders that could come cheap.
