The Oakland Athletic’s official Twitter page tweets that the A’s have claimed outfielder Jai Miller off waivers from the Florida Marlins. The team immediate optioned Miller to Triple-A Sacramento.

The Marlins designated Miller for assignment on April 3.

Miller, 25, has one game (in 2008) under his belt in his Major League career. In his only at-bat Miller struck out. You can see Miller’s contract history and statistics here.
