		<description>I would agree with you that what Rose did in no way is of the same broken-moral-compass variety of the others you&#039;re talking about and Washington. But what Rose did do is break a rule that is clearly stated that if you bet on baseball, you will be banned from baseball for life. Rose made a choice, same as Washington, same as McGwire. He knew what the repercussions were if he got caught, and he did it anyway. So, while socially what he did wasn&#039;t as big a deal, within the game of baseball they go hand-in-hand. Rose should be left out for being galactically selfish and dumb.</description>

		<description>I like how everybody is making a fuss over the steroid scandals and giving all players/managers/etc. a second chance. But what about Pete Rose. Was gambling the cardinal sin of baseball that cannot be forgiven? I don&#039;t think Rose cheated any more than anybody else. Yes, he effected the games&#039; outcomes, but so did McGwire and A-rod. Not fair to Rose.</description>
