Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports that the Seattle Mariners have signed right-handed pitcher Jesus Colome to a Minor League contract with an invitation to Spring Training.
Colome missed 15 games in late August due to a forearm injury before being released by the Brewers on September 6.
Colome, 32, pitched for the Nationals and Brewers in 2009. In his 9 year career, Colome has a 19-26 record in 329 appearances with a 4.66 ERA. He played his first six seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays. You can Colome’s contract history and statistics here.
