The Los Angeles Dodgers and Reed Johnson have agreed to a one-year contract according to Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times.
Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com and Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports reported that both sides were close to a deal as of yesterday.
Johnson, 33, was limited last season to 65 games because of a fractured left foot. He hit .255 with 4 home runs and 22 RBIs with the Cubs in his shortened season. You can see Johnson’s contract history and statistics here.
