According to Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers have signed pitcher Jeff Weaver to a Minor League deal.
Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reported yesterday that the Dodgers were interersted in Weaver, but their roster situation prevented them from offering him a Major League deal.
Weaver, 33, was 6-4 with a 3.65 ERA in 28 appearances with the Dodgers in 2009. You can see Weaver’s contract history and statistics here.
The Dodgers also need to make a roster move to accommodate infielder Nick Green.
