Orlando Hudson Rumors: Tigers interested in second baseman?
ByAccording to the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Tigers have interest in free agent Orlando Hudson to replace former Tiger Placido Polanco at second base. Polanco signed with the Philadelphia Phillies last month.
Other teams that have been interested in Hudson this off season include the Mariners, Twins, Mets, Nationals and Rockies.
Hudson, 32, hit .283 and had a .357 on-base percentage over 149 games with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2009. Hudson made $3.38 million last year in his only season with the Dodgers.
