According to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, the Dodgers have signed free-agent pitchers Russ Ortiz and outfielder Michael Restovich to Minor League contracts with invitations to Spring Training.

Ortiz, 35, played with the Houston Astros in 2009.  He was 3-6 with a 5.57 ERA over 23 games.  Ortiz made $750,000 while with Houston.

Restovich, 31, last played with the Washington Nationals in 2007 when he appeared in 15 games.  He is a career .239 hitter (64 for 268) with the Twins, Rockies, Pirates, Cubs and Nationals.
