According to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com, the New York Mets have signed right-handed pitcher Josh Fogg to a Minor League contract with an invitation to Spring Training. The deal is pending a physical.

Fogg will have the opportunity to compete to be the Met’s fifth starter.

Fogg, 33, was 0-2 with a 3.74 ERA in 24 games with the Colorado Rockies in 2009. You can see Fogg’s contract history and statistics here.
