According to the Associated Press, the San Francisco Giants and closer Brian Wilson have avoided salary-arbitration by agreeing to a one-year deal. Both sides agreed to the mid-point salary of $4.4375 million. Wilson was asking for $4.875 million and the Giants were offering $4 million.
