Update 14:30: Jordan Bastian of MLB.com Tweets: Carlos Delgado’s agent and Jays GM have now both shot down the rumor that the former Blue Jay has signed with Toronto.

Update 14:27: The FAN 590, Canada’s leading sports radio station, Tweets: Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos has denied any reports of the team signing Carlos Delgado when contacted by THE FAN 590.

Noah Coslov of MLB.com Tweets that the Toronto Blue Jays have signed free agent first baseman Carlos Delgado.

The New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles have been interested in Delgado throughout the winter.

Delgado played in 26 games for the Mets in 2009 before going down to a hip injury that required surgery.  You can see Delgado’s statistics here.
