Here is a running list of players who avoided arbitration on Tuesday. All deals are for one-year unless noted:
Arizona Diamondbacks: Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports that Stephen Drew agreed on a one-year contract worth $3.4 million.
Baltimore Orioles: Spencer Fordin of MLB.com reports that Luke Scott signed a one-year $4.05 contract with the Orioles.
Boston Red Sox: Amalie Banjamin of the Boston Globe reports that Jonathan Papelbon signed for one-year $9.35 million. The Red Sox also signed Ramon Ramirez and Manny Delcarmen.
Chicago Cubs: Bruce Levine of ESPN reports that the Cubs signed five of their arbitration-eligible players on Tuesday: INF Mike Fontenot (one-year, $1 million), INF Jeff Baker (one-year, $975,000), C Koyie Hill (one-year, $700,000), P Tom Gorzelanny (one-year, $800,000) and reliever Angel Guzman (one-year $825,000).
Chicago White Sox: Bruce Levine of ESPN reports that the White Sox signed starter John Danks to a one-year, $3.45 million deal.
Cleveland Indians: Anthony Castrovince of MLB.com reports that the Indians signed LHP Rafael Perez to a one-year, $795,000 contract.
Colorado Rockies: Tracy Ringolsby of FOXSports reports that Huston Street (three-years + fourth year option, $22.5 million) and Rafael Betancourt (two-years, $3.775 million) have agreed to terms.
Detroit Tigers: USA Today reports that catcher Gerald Laird (one-year, $3.95 million), LHP Bobby Seay (one-year, $2.475 million) and RHP Zach Miner (one-year, $950,000) have agreed to terms.
Florida Marlins: The Sun Sentinal reports that the Florida Marlins signed Jorge Cantu for $6 million, and right-handed pitcher Leo Nunez, the projected closer, for $2 million.
Houston Astros: Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports that the Houston Astros signed Michael Bourn, relief pitcher Matt Lindstrom ($1.625 million plus bonuses) and catcher Humberto Quintero ($750,00 plus bonuses).
Kansas City Royals: Dick Kaegel of MLB.com reports that the Royals signed third baseman Alex Gordon for one-year $1.15 million and pitcher Robinson Tejeda for one-year, $950,000.
Los Angeles Angels: Jon Heyman of SI reports that Howie Kendrick signed for $1.75 million plus incentives. Jered Weaver signed a one-year $4.265 million contract with the Angels according to Jon Heyman.
Los Angeles Dodgers: Jon Heyman of SI reports that the Dodgers have signed George Sherrill for $4.5 million plus incentives and James Loney for $3.1 million. Tony Jackson of ESPN.com reports that the Dodgers signed Hong-Chih Kuo (one-year, $950,000), catcher Russell Martin (one-year, $5.5 million), closer Jonathan Broxton and right fielder Andre Ethier.
Milwaukee Brewers: According to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, Rickie Weeks signed a one-year $2.75 million contract. Carlos Gomez signed a one-year, $1.1 million contract.
Minnesota Twins: LaVelle E. Neal III reports that the Twins signed Carl Pavano to one-year $7 million and J.J. Hardy to one-year around $5 million. Kelly Thesier reports that pitchers Jesse Crain (terms unknown), Matt Guerrier (one-year, $3.15 million), Francisco Liriano (terms unknown), Pat Neshek (one-year, $625,000 with $75,000 in incentives) and infielder Brendan Harris (two-years $3.2 million plus up to $650,000 in incentives), and outfielder Delmon Young (one-year, $2.6 million up to to $50,000 in performance bonuses — $25,000 for 575 plate appearances and $25,000 for 600.) have reached an agreement with the Twins.
New York Mets: Jon Heyman of SI reports that Jeff Francoeur signed for $5 million.
Oakland Athletics: Jon Heyman of SI reports that Rajai Davis signed for $1.35 million plus incentives. Jane Lee of MLB.com reports that the Oakland Athletics have agreed with Kevin Kouzmanoff on a deal worth $3.1 million.
Pittsburgh Pirates: Dejan Kovacevic Tweets that the Pirates signed LHP Zach Duke to a one-year contract for $4.3 million.
San Diego Padres: The Padres signed RHP Mike Adams. He will make $1 million.
San Francisco Giants: Jon Heyman of SI reports that Jonathan Sanchez signed for $2.1 million plus incentives.
St. Louis Cardinals: Matthew Leach or MLB.com reports that Ryan Ludwick has avoided arbitration by agreeing to a $5.45 million deal.
Seattle Mariners: Jim Street of MLB.com reports that closer David Aardsma signed a one-year, $2.75 million deal in his first year of eligibility.
Texas Rangers: Jon Heyman of SI reports that Josh Hamilton has a one-year deal for $3.25 million plus award bonuses ($100,000 for MVP, $100,000 for World Series MVP)
Tampa Bay Rays: Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times reports that the Rays have signed SS Jason Bartlett for $4 million, Matt Garza for $3.35 million and LHP J.P. Howell for $1.8 million plus incentives.
Toronto Blue Jays: Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports that the Blue Jays signed Jason Frasor ($2.65 million), Brian Tallet ($2 million), Shawn Camp ($1.15 million), Jeremy Accardo ($1.08 million) and Casey Janssen ($700,000).
Washington Nationals: William Ladson reports that the Nationals signed outfielder Josh Willingham for $4.6 million.
