According to ESPN, the Toronto Blue Jays held a private workout for pitcher Aroldis Chapman on Thursday in Florida.  The Blue Jays then spoke with Chapman’s agents, Randy and Alan Hendricks after the workout.

Chapman has received offers from the Boston Red Sox ($15.5 million) and Florida Marlins ($13 million).  ESPNLosAngeles.com reported Thursday that the Los Angeles Angels are preparing to make an offer to Chapman.

One industry source speculated that Chapman now may be in line for a contract in the range of $20 million to $25 million.
