Adrian Beltre Rumors: Choosing between 3 teams

Update 16:23: Buster Olney of ESPN Tweets: BOS offer to Beltre is probably in the range of $10 mill. to $10.5 mill. annually, and the offer is expected to include an opt-out clause.

11:41am PST: According to Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated, he Tweets: adrian beltre’s choosing between 3 teams. 1 is boston, another may be oakland. the 3rd? twins? cardinals? not positive.
It is believed that Beltre is looking for a five-year deal worth between $13-16 million, but the market has come down and the team that signs him may be able to get Beltre at a price lower than his demands.
Beltre, 30, hit 8 home runs, drove in 44 RBI’s and hit .265 in 111 games while making $13.4 million with the Seattle Mariners in 2009.
