The A’s are currently in the process of signing free agent Coco Crisp to a one-year deal for about $4.5 million with a team option.  It should finalize today.  Now the Athletics have their site on another outfielder/DH:  Jack Cust.

Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle writes that the A’s have the payroll flexibility re-sign Jack Cust, but they need to act quickly since Cust has 2-3 offers on the table and is being targeted by several other teams including the Tigers, Royals, Giants and Rangers.
