• Marlon Byrd (true centerfielder) and Scott Podsednik (left handed batter, hits leadoff, less expensive) are the strongest candidates
• Rick Ankiel is a less likely option because of a bad 2009 season.
• Yankees Melky Cabrera or Brett Gardner may be available from the Yankees this offseason.
